School
Our partner opened a Chr*stian school in 2019 to provide an excellent education and bright future for all students. While it started with 110 students, it now serves 1,300 children from nursery to 10th grade, and runs April to March. The school is one of the best in the district, with top-notch teachers and staff – all believers and English speakers – from all over India. Lydia Transformation Groups for Women
The two main goals of the transformation groups are to teach the women how to read and write, and for them to know Christ. The groups help women become economically self-sufficient by financing their small businesses; they also facilitate worshipping Christ through memorizing Scriptures and singing choruses. Our partner’s organization will set up at least one group in each Dalit village or slum in northern India, with 30 women and one teacher in each center. There will be one


Children's Literacy Centers
Our partner’s organization has already established 32 children’s literacy centers, and wants to set up at least one literacy center in each Dalit village or slum in northern India. In each center one teacher will take care of 30 students for two hours each day. There will be one supervisor for every 10 centers; he will contact the teachers, children and parents in his area and share Christ’s love and good news with them. Children's Homes
Providing Abandoned Children in Northern India with a Hope and Future In response to the need for loving, caring homes that provide for the basic needs of food and shelter and for the deeper emotional and spiritual needs of children in northern India, a home for boys was opened in 2012 and updated in 2021, and a home for girls was opened in 2015.
