School construction funds provided
God is so good! He is Jehovah Jireh (the Lord will provide)! After our last message regarding opportunities to invest in the growth of our partner’s school*, all the needed funds were provided! He can now construct and furnish the fourth floor, and the Chr**tian school will be completely finished this fall. Thank you for praying fervently and giving sacrificially! As the apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians, God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us!”
“God’s people are praying,” said our partner. “Because of multiple COVID lockdowns and declining enrollment over the past couple years, other schools in India have closed permanently, but [the school] continues to grow. We’re giving these children an excellent education, and teaching them to pray and read the Bible. They are going to be powerful witnesses for the Kingdom.”
Last week, when school enrollment reached 1,100 students, our partner was able to accommodate them by opening five new classrooms on the third floor. Praise God for His perfect timing and provision! School officials said new students join each day and believe there will be 1,200 youth enrolled by the beginning of May. In June – before the rainy season starts – workers will add the roof to the fourth floor, and the school will be completely finished by October.
At that point, our partner will be able to fulfill his original vision of the school serving 1,800-2,000 students each year – children and teens who will share the Good News with their families, friends and neighbors. His hope is that these well-educated believers will one day run the nation! Plus, when income from school tuition rises above operating costs, the organization is able to fund other aspects of the ministry, such as supporting its ch**ch-planting pastors, and move closer to being self-sustaining.
Thank you for joining God where He is working and partnering with us in this exciting movement!
