God Uses Ordinary Believers to Do Great Things

Thank you for covering our Go*pel Outreach Week in prayer—God answered in ways beyond what we could ask or imagine! From July 1–7, our evan*elists shared the go*pel with 3,898,329 people who had never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ! Because of God’s faithfulness and the devotion of these 10,000-plus workers, lives have been forever changed—chains broken, the sick healed, and tears turned to joy.
“God used simple, ordinary believers and chu*ch planters to do great things,” said our partner. “They traveled from village to village, introducing people to Jesus through their personal testimonies and go*pel story banners. Their efforts are key to seeing No Village Left–a healthy chu*ch in every village of Northern India.”

Our evan*elists returned home with countless stories—many of healings that led entire families to Christ. Over the next six months, workers will disciple these new believers and the persons of peace who opened their homes to host gatherings. We pray these fellowships will grow into house chu*rches.
Here are just a few of the powerful testimonies:
Sadhir's Story:
I was born into a Hindu family, but my parents hated me because I was always sick. I had no friends. On July 5, two people came to my village to share about Jesus. At first, I ignored them. But when I heard their testimonies of healing, I paid close attention. I asked them to pray for me because deep down I knew Jesus was the only one who could help me. As they prayed, I felt like electricity was surging through my body—God touched me! I surrendered my life to Jesus. Now I’m healthy, strong, and filled with joy. When my family saw the change in me, they accepted Jesus too!
Chinta’s Story:
Life was normal until my son suddenly got sick. Doctors said his kidneys had failed. We tried hospitals, temples, and witchdoctors—nothing worked. We were hopeless.
Then a man came to our village, sharing the Good News of Jesus. He said, “Put your faith in Jesus—He will take care of your problems.” I told him, “If Jesus heals my son, I will believe and follow Him.” He replied, “Nothing is impossible for God. Trust Him and pray.”
He prayed, and though I didn’t know how, I opened my heart and cried out to God. Within days, my son was healed! The doctors confirmed he was completely fine. I destroyed all our idols and thanked Jesus. My whole family has now accepted Him—we will serve Him for the rest of our lives.
Jayanti’s Story:
On July 10, two brothers came to my village to share the story of Jesus. I was broken inside—lonely, with no one to support me. I often cried and had thought of ending my life many times.
But when they spoke of God’s unconditional love and Jesus’ sacrifice, it broke me. I wanted Jesus in my life—the one who gave everything to rescue me from darkness. I asked how to receive Him, and they told me, “Just talk to Him. He will hear, save, and guide you.”
I prayed, and immediately felt peace and joy in my heart. My spirit felt light. I thanked God for making me His daughter.
