Approximately 30,000 Baptisms!

Because of your support, on Thanksgiving Day, our partner and his leaders plan to bapti*e approximately 30,000 new believers in 2,500 locations across Northern India! These new brothers and sisters heard about Jesus for the first time during our summer outreach, and since then, our evan*elists have been preparing them for this next step of faith. 


Your past giving, prayers and God’s grace made these life-changing outreach efforts and bapti*ms possible, and giving now ensures this work continues until all have heard. Nearly 96% of India’s 1.4 billion people have yet to hear the Good News (Joshua Project, Nov. 2025). Until our summer outreach, Sona was among them. 


Sona's Life Transformed

“My name is Sona. For the last five years, I suffered from a serious infection, which caused my husband to treat me very badly. I didn’t have money for proper medical care, so I went to many temples and performed many rituals, but nothing helped. 


This past summer, two sisters visited my home with go*pel story banners. Their life testimony was so powerful. I wanted to experience God’s supernatural power in my life, so I prayed to Jesus with my whole heart. God heard my prayers, and within two days, my infection was gone. 


I called the sisters back to learn more about Jesus and His works. Now, my husband and I believe that Jesus is the true Creator of everything and worthy of all praise. We both plan to be bapti*ed on Thanksgiving Day–and we will not turn back in any situation.”


To ensure all, like Sona, have the opportunity to hear the go*pel, the Friends of India Network empowers Indigenous leaders to bring the love of Christ where few have gone before. To reach our vision of No Village Left–a healthy house chu*ch in every village of Northern India by 2033– we need to raise $1.95 million this year. But, here’s what that looks like in practical terms:


Each of the five states FOIN focuses on is divided into districts. In Bi*ar, for example, our partner and his team have assigned grassroots chu*ch planters, chu*ch multiplication coaches, master trainers and a movement leader to the Ro*tas District. Each chu*ch planter is responsible for reaching and planting chu*ches in 15-20 villages within a 3-4 km radius.

  • The presence and power of the Holy Spirit to be evident throughout the event;

  • Anointing and spiritual protection for each pastor performing bapti*ms;

  • Spiritual protection and growth for each believer, for them to understand the significance of bapti*m, and be a witness in their family and community; and

  • Safe travels, good health, and smooth logistics.
